Gnostic studies delve profoundly into the meaning of the scriptures by exposing, publically, and for the first time the tools needed to understand the language in which the scriptures are written. Without mastery, which takes years of intense studying and meditation, of these tools (Kabbalah, Astrology, Numerology, and Tarot) aspirants to the straight and narrow path fall into division, and cling to THEIR interpretations, THEIR doctrines, and THEIR dogmas. Much anger is directed to those who question or reject THEIR interpretations, doctrines, and dogmas. History repeats itself as establishment and fundamentalists will reject these teachings as Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes rejected those of the Christ.

Mastery of Kabbalah, Astrology, Numerology, Tarot and knowledge of the meanings of the sacred Hebrew letters will cut through this ignorance, unlock the secrets held for centuries within the scriptures, and give the much needed guidance to the seeker.

The narratives of the doctrine are its cloak. The simple look only at the garment-that is, upon the narrative of the doctrine; more they know not. The instructed, however, see not merely the cloak, but what the cloak covers. --The Zohar

To you [the disciples] it hath been given to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, and to these [others] it hath not been given. Matthew 13:11

And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it. But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples. Mark 4:33-34

In synthesis, when the scriptures are read literally one falls into instant confusion on their meaning, because one does not have the keys to decode and unlock the deeper meanings. Does this mean that the people of the scriptures did or did not exist? Does not such a focus on the physical existence relegate the scriptures to a history book, a book that is in desperate need of an update of which I would recommend the late Howard Zinn's, "A Peoples History of the World," as the New New Testament? However, if one sees the scriptures as a spiritual instruction manual written by those who have successfully walked the path, and wrote down how as best they could, then the scriptures produce good fruit of spiritual generation and creation, rather than the bad fruit of division, separation, degeneration, destruction, and war.
